WEB SITES

Web sites are where it's at! Below you will find a few samples. Some I've designed, some I've written, and some I've designed, written and produced! I've also included their urls, if live, so you can check out the entire sites.

Here you are at www.karribean.com! A good friend, Karin Wilson, helped me out and came up with this design (it's pretty difficult to design something to promote yourself, strictly by yourself). Karin is a great designer. We work together on a regular basis, I write copy for many of the pieces she designs, and she designs many of the pieces I write. I maintain this site myself and would be happy to do the same for you.

Karin's site is www.wildwomandesign.com. She asked me to polish some of the copy for her. Pretty good looking site huh?

The Museum of the Albemarle is located in Elizabeth City, N.C. (where I live...). They're in the process of constructing a gorgeous new building, and they wanted a gorgeous new site as well! This is the initial site design I came up with. It's not yet live, but I'll let you know when it is.

This coffeehouse is owned and operated by a friend of mine. It's awesome...when I walk in the door, Shelley or Tina just start making my usual...all they ask is whether I want leaded or unleaded. I designed and maintain this site. Check them out at www.muddys.com

This company is an e-commerce industrial parts supplier. They have two parts to their web site, the market place and the markeTING. I designed and wrote the marketing side of this site.

One of my clients is a Veterinarian. For his site I created two separate page designs. We used a picture of his dog Kaila on the initial page, then made room for more copy on subsequent pages. We also wanted to share the limelight with the other animals at the hospital! Check it out! www.bridgewatervet.com.

Ken McLeod is a Realtor in Prescott, AZ, hence his web site www.dreamprescott.com. Karin designed it for him and I wrote the copy. We had a good time on this one, he wanted the site to give his clients a taste of the southwest, so I learned a thing or two about the area in the process.

Check this one out. I created this site for the North Carolina Potato Association. Who knew there was so much to learn about potatoes?

Here's another one connected with the potato. I was on the Marketing Committee for the Albemarle Potato Festival 2001 when I initially designed the site. I continue to update it today. This was a fun project to work on, and the festival is a blast too!
